The stand has a compartment below the enclosure that allows for the storage of the iPad Charging cube, as well as after market chargers, when used with Maclocks universal power cord. This feature provides an attractive and secure solution to prevent the power cube from theft if left exposed. The stand can also be placed further from power outlets because it is not limited to the USB cable's durability or limited length.

A Lockable Security Cable can be used to secure the stand to a fixed object while still allowing mobility and can be purchased at the checkout.

The Security Cover with lock:

The security polymer cover with lock is attached to the adjustable stand using 4 solid metal screws (For top security needs, choose the security enclosure version).

How Does it Lock?

The first component of the patent-pending iPad 2 security cover, is a hard clear polymer case. And since the iPad has no security slot, the case has one built in. In this way you can lock the

security cable to the case, and loop the cable’s other end around a fixed object (like a table). Locking the case and security cable together, acts as an effective deterrent.
