Why do I need an anchor point? Our anchor point is used if you don't have a fixed object to loop the cable around http://www.maclocks.com/index.php/single-anchoring-unit.html

The anchor point is a stainless steel anchoring unit with screws and adhesive to for attaching the Security Cable to a desk, wall or floor. The anchor point can be attached with screws or by using super-glue adhesive.

Do you have blocked home button options? On a number of iPad cases and iPad enclosures we offer a piece that will cover the home button restricting the ability to press it.

On Android and Widows tablets there are options to disable the home button in the device settings

How do I connect the cable lock? Just loop the cable around a fixed object and secure the locking head into the locking slot on the desired device.

What keying options do you offer? The standard key provided is unique to the individual lock included, we also have 2 other key management options:

· Keyed Alike: All keys for all devices ordered will be the same and be able to open all devices ordered

· Master Key: All keys included lock the individual device ordered with a set of keys that can unlock all devices in the order.

What happens if I lose my key? For confidentiality reasons we don't record individual key numbers.

Therefore we are unable to provide replacements for certain items bought from our store. If you have lost your key please contact [email protected] for assistance.

How is shipping calculated? Shipping costs are calculated based on quantity, weight and final address.
How do I get a shipping quotes?

Do you ship internationally? Yes we do. We ship daily to many of our customers worldwide, so feel free to place your order.

FedEx International economy shipping should take 4-6 business days, International priority shipping should take 2-4 business days.

Where do you ship from? All of our products are shipped from our warehouse and handling facility in Texas, USA.

What tablets do you support? We are always trying to keep up with the demand and provide our customers with the widest range of security options available. To that matter we offer universal tablet locking solutions that are compatible with all available tablet brands and models.

Do you accept Purchase orders?

I have a special project and I need something custom made, can you help? In general there are 3 types of customization requests:

· Custom color and branding: Screen or silk printing of your brand and color of your choice.

· Custom design: Ability to provide integrated solutions, such as connected peripherals (credit card readers or NFC beacons), cable management or form factor.

· Custom tablet: Creating a solution for a tablet or device we don’t currently offer an enclosure or lock for.

Maclocks has the experience and understanding to undertake the creative design and quality construction for any solution you need. Our team of engineers are available for collaboration for all levels of custom projects.

What is the difference between sticker and glue on? The 3M industrial adhesive bonding tape is a perfect balance between security, aesthetics and the ability to remove without damaging the devices or leaving glue behind.

The Super glue option is for more permanent use.

Can I remove the 3M sticker plate? Yes, but once it is removed it will not be able to be stuck back on to the device.

What are your products made of? We use several different high grade materials to construct our products. Our products are made of stainless steel, aluminum, or hardened plastic polymer.

Can I charge my device while locked? Yes! All of our enclosures, locks and mounts allow you to charge your device while secured.

Do have any products that hide the cables? Yes, we have several mounts that offer partial and full cable concealment. The Pole, Flip and Reach Arm mounts offer partial hidden cable management with the Capsule and Glacier offering full concealment.

Do you have regional resellers or distributors? Yes we do, you can see a short list of our many partners in the footer banner of our website.

What can I secure my enclosure to? Our enclosures all come with a standard VESA mounting pattern that allow you to flush mount them to any surface. When paired with a base mount the pattern differs by solution, but nonetheless can be secured to any flat surface area.

The most common mounting areas are counter-tops and walls and other popular uses are below elevated cabinets and in dashboard consoles.

I don’t want to screw into my table top what are my security options? In every mount or enclosure we include a security locking slot that will allow you to connect a tethered cable lock. This will allow you to secure your kiosk or stand without the need to drill any holes.

Another option would be to use double sided bonding tape that will adhere your device to the flat surface.

Will the locking device effect my Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G connectivity? We have designed our locks, mounts and enclosures to allow for uninterrupted Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G connectivity.

Do you have anything that works with credit card readers? Yes! We have a full line of iPad Point-of-Sale enclosures that accept a majority of card readers available. For other tablets we have limited items that are compatible with audio jack and USB card readers.

What is the difference between the Executive to other enclosures? The Executive enclosure is the only enclosure we have that is compatible with all current full size iPads (1/2/3/4/Air/Air 2) and its locking method is unique.

This enclosure gets secured with tamper-proof screws (instead of a keyed cylinder lock) and has a more open rear frame with access to all the ports and buttons. It is a very clean design and is favored by establishments who don’t need to remove the iPad often.

Why did I get charged an international fee for my purchase? Our company is an international brand, which explains the international charge. While our HQ is based in the USA, the payment processor remains international.

Why did I get FedEx invoice for custom fees if I paid for shipping? Since we are an online store we are not subject to local taxes and therefore do not include them in the item or shipping costs. With each country having its own unique import taxes occasionally you will be charged a duty for the cost of the goods shipped.

What is your return policy? You may return a product within 7 days of the confirmed delivery date at no cost as long as the product is still in its original packaging and has not been assembled or used whatsoever.

If the product was opened you will be charged a 25% restocking fee and any related shipping costs.

For damaged or defective products a claim must be made within 7 days of confirmed delivery and submitted to [email protected] with your order number and accompanying images of the issue in question.

Do your products have a warranty? We provide a one year warranty on all security cable locks, metal enclosures and stands from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover the normal wear and tear of parts and does not apply to any product that has been tampered with or misused. Our warranty does not cover any damage caused by force majeure; weather or natural elements, vandalism, negligent handling or damage due to faulty packaging or mishandling in transit by carrier.
